About the Role
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced Contract Mobile Phlebotomist to provide professional blood draw and specimen collection services in homes, offices, and community-based settings.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W-2 position. Contractors manage their own schedules, transportation, and availability while upholding Phlebo On The Go’s standards of care, excellence, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection according to provider orders
Provide mobile phlebotomy services in homes, offices, and designated locations
Collect routine labs, specialty lab kits, therapeutic phlebotomy, and other services as assigned
Ensure proper and compliant labeling, handling, and transport of specimens
Maintain accurate documentation and follow all compliance and safety protocols
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in every interaction
Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, providers, and the Phlebo On The Go team
Qualifications
Certified Phlebotomy Technician (required)
Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience required due to in-the-field appointments with minimal training or guidance
Strong venipuncture skills across diverse patient populations
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work independently and manage appointments responsibly
Comfortable working in a mobile, non-traditional healthcare setting
Please Note:
This position is a 1099 independent contractor role, not a W-2 employee position. Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and expenses. Compensation is per visit / per service, based on assignment. Flexible scheduling based on availability and service demand.
